I'm not saying, of course, you're going to walk around 24/7 shining like a lightbulb. Even Jesus didn't do that. e glory of God mostly flowed through Him in other ways—often in the form of healing. In Mark 5:28-29, for instance, God's healing power so permeated His body that a woman with an issue of blood just reached out in faith and touched the hem of His garment and she was instantly made whole. e same kind of thing happened in Peter's ministry in the book of Acts. God's power radiated from him to the point that if even his shadow fell on people they could be healed. Can those kinds of miracles happen in 2016 through believers like you and me? Yes, they can! Jesus said, "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive)" (John 7:38-39). The same Holy Spirit who was in Jesus—the same Holy Spirit who was in Peter—is the same Holy Spirit who is dwelling in us. When we cooperate with Him and get the hindrances out of His way, His power can flow through our natural bodies like electricity. His rivers of living water can minister not only to us, but to other people as well. is is why God is speaking to us about holiness! He wants to manifest His presence more fully through us in this hour. He wants to reveal His glory in us and do things for us and through us that will cause sinners all over the world to fall on their faces before Him and get saved. "But you just don't understand what a struggle that is for me," you might say. "My flesh is really stubborn!" I don't ca re how st ubborn you r f lesh is, it can be trained. It can be exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14). If you've spent years practicing doing the wrong thing, it might give you a hard time for a while, but that's OK. e more you walk in the spirit, the more your flesh will get in line.
