big things—it only takes very small things to turn them around. Your tongue, or your speech, can turn around whatever challenge you may have in your life. at little thing you have in your mouth, used properly, will turn any situation around. e point here is that we can't wait until something "comes up" or "goes wrong" before we start ordering our confession. We are encouraged and mandated by God's WORD to get hold of our tongue. Build Your Foundation Jesus said, "I say what I hear the Father say." at means He said nothing but the words of God. He didn't wait until situations or temptations came His way. No, He was already prepared and listening to the words of the Father. Luke 6 tells us of two men. One man who heard e WORD, acted on that WORD and built his firm foundation while everything was fine and going well. But the second man, who did not spend his time building a proper foundation, when the storm hit, he went out and tried to pour his concrete foundation. Have you ever tried to pour concrete in the rain? It doesn't work. It's the same way with things of the spirit. You can't go to church or to your job and talk to the pastor or other people with right words and godly speech, and then go home and talk to your family using wrong speech. You can't make confessions of God's WORD all day and then go out with your friends at night and gossip or tell dirty jokes. When you do, you cause your spirit man to be confused. Just like the bit in a horse's mouth, and the rudder on a ship ( James 3:1-5), you build your foundation— your world—one faith confession, one sentence and even one word at a time. And you continually stay with it. at's where the process of framing comes in. at's how it's done. Even though I may not see results tomorrow for something that I start confessing today, I'm putting these things into action in my life, and I will see changes take place. ere are some things, however, that I'm still looking for the results on that I've been confessing and believing God for a while. But you know what? I have an earnest expectation on the inside of me. And with faith-filled words coming out of my mouth, I know I have the manifestation—it doesn't matter what it looks like! And just in case someone says, "But Pastor, James 3:8 says, 'e tongue can no man tame.'" To that I'd have to say, "You're right. at's what it says." But the word man in that verse is talking about the natural man—the man without God. And folks, without God, you cannot tame your tongue. But with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can tame your tongue and cause it to say those things that need to be said—those things that agree with e WORD of God. So it all comes down to this: Are you ready to lay hold of anointed results in your life? God did when He framed the worlds...Jesus did and, by His examples, He showed us how.... ey did it by their words—words of faith. B V O V : 1 7 Everyone has a sphere of influence and a place where they touch a certain number of people.
