house or other type of building is being built, you begin construction by putting up boards to frame or measure out and defi ne space for the rooms being created. As I thought of these illustrations, I knew they were both fi ne and good. But something wasn't quite there for me—I knew there was more. So, I went back to e WORD, and I did quite an extensive study on the original meanings of the word framed. I discovered that when we say, "God framed," we're talking about words like He "fi t together," and He "thoroughly, totally and completely equipped—so complete that there is absolutely no defi ciency and no lack at all." Nothing Lacking I was in awe. I mean, think about it. Have you ever put together a project—one that has tiny, little pieces that just won't all fi t—and there ends up being a few pieces and parts left over? By the end of the project, you're scratching your head and asking yourself, Where do these parts go? or I wonder what that one was supposed to do? I remember when, many years ago, I exposed my son, Jeremy, to his fi rst project of putting something together for me. We bought a simple, outdoor grill. It wasn't a big gas grill or anything, so I gave it to him to put together. And I watched him as he did. He struggled and labored until fi nally, when he was "fi nished," he ended up with extra parts. en he had to ask, "What is this for, Dad? Where do these extra parts go?" Well I have to admit, there have been times when I have put things together and the same thing happened to me. When it did, I just thought, Forget it. It works OK as it is! Who needs these extra parts? But God isn't like that. When He framed the worlds, He left nothing lacking. He didn't go back later and say, Oh, I left this out. I forgot just one little thing. No. ere is no defi ciency in God. He is total. He is absolute. His WORD is complete with nothing lacking. It always fulfi lls what it is supposed to do. We can see how God framed the world when we look at Genesis 1: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the fi rst day. And God said, Let there be a fi rmament.... And God made the fi rmament...And God called the fi rmament Heaven.... And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together.... And God called the dry land Earth...And God said...(verses 2-11, italics mine). Do you see the consistency with which God went about the creation of things? He created the heavens and the earth with the spoken word, or words spoken by faith and in faith. Psalm 33:6 says, "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth." Faith-Filled Words Since we see how God framed the worlds with words—with faith-fi lled words—what we must realize is, each and every one of us have a world. By that I mean, everyone has a sphere of infl uence and a place where they touch a certain number of people—family, church, job, school, friends. And we frame that world in the same way that God framed His: with faith-fi lled words. at's where it begins. Everything starts with words. e LORD explained it to me with this phrase: Your world is in your tongue. And James 3 further explains by saying: My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation (or judgment). For in many things we off end all. If any man off end not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fi erce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth (verses 1-4). What is he doing here? He's talking about examples of our tongue and the way we talk. e speech that comes forth from our mouths. He's telling us that, like horses and ships—two You Tube ® 1 6 : B V O V Watch EMIC services with Pastors George & Terri on Channel 366 C H A N N E L with Pastors George & Terri on C H A N N E L George Pearsons is chief executive offi cer of Kenneth Copeland Ministries and senior pastor of Eagle Mountain International Church, located on the grounds of KCM.
