Power of the Prophetic Word

Have you ever stepped into a new year wondering what The LORD had in store? Have you looked ahead on your calendar and wondered what was about to take place—questioning if you’d be in a better place by the end of the year?
I have, and I’m happy to say that The LORD has shown me how to approach each new year full of expectation. He’s shown me how to get ready to step over into a realm of glory that I’ve never stepped into before. He’s shown me how to look ahead in faith, with clear direction about what to believe for and what to expect.
You can approach each year like this, too. It comes down to receiving marching orders for the year from His prophets.
Amos 3:7 says, “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
God reveals those things He wants to get done on the earth through His prophets. He always has. Hosea, Zechariah, Micah, Jeremiah and Isaiah all saw and declared the coming of Jesus. They said, “There’s One coming! There’s One coming!” They spoke those words over and over. The devil was confused about it. The political system was confused about it. But that didn’t stop the prophetic word.
