Ready for His Coming

One of these days, the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back for His Church. At a moment when the world is least expecting it, He’s going to appear in the clouds to those of us who are believers, and catch us away to glory to be with Him forever.
That’s going to be a thrilling moment! And according to the Bible, as Christians we’re to live in the awareness that it’s rapidly approaching. We’re to live every day “looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). We’re to be ready all the time for the upward call of the “last trumpet,” because before very long now that trumpet is going to sound (1 Corinthians 15:52).
