The theme of this year’s teen meetings is reCalculate, which is based on Jeremiah 6:16. “Go stand at the crossroads and look around. Ask for directions to the old road, the tried-and-true road. Then take it. Discover the right route for your souls” ("The Message"). Pastor John’s passion is to see this generation rise up and become spiritual powerhouses. He wants to teach teens how to allow their spiritual GPS, the Word of God, to recalculate their path and stay strong in a world going wrong. Not Just a Meeting 14forty isn’t just a meeting—it’s a movement. One that’s sweeping across the globe. This one week each year at SWBC has led to a wave of 14forty Campus Clubs across the U.S., as well as Uganda and Canada that is impacting teens for Christ. Reports of salvations, healings and miracles pour in each week from clubs in public schools, private schools and even home-school groups. “We want them to have a chance to put feet to their faith,” says Jester. “They are the next phase of the Church, and our goal is to keep the fire of faith burning from previous generations. We are closer than ever to the coming of Christ, so they are needed in this hour. They need to know they’re a part of something bigger than themselves; that they can have an impact on their generation,” says Jester. That’s what 14forty SWBC is all about! An Experience Like No Other When you send your teens to 14forty at SWBC, you can be assured that they will experience total immersion in the Word of God, on-fire faith and a no-compromise approach to Christianity. We’re expecting God to pour out His Spirit onto this group of young people according to Joel 2:28, which says, “I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy…and your young men will see visions” ("New Living Translation"). With powerful and energetic teachers like Todd White, Pastor David Winston, Dean Sikes, Jen Tringale, Rick Reyna, Chip Brim, Michael Koulianos, Jeremy and Sarah Pearsons, and more, teens will be equipped to stand for healing, finances, their schools and their faith.
