I have a couple of questions to ask you today. They are questions relatively few Christians seriously consider, but every believer should be able to answer. What do you want your income to be? What should you have financially in order to live well, be debt free, have some healthy savings accounts and give generously? Have you ever sat down and thought about that? Have you ever put a pencil to paper and, with the guidance of The WORD and the Holy Spirit, figured it out? If not, it’s time you did. It’s time you stopped just trying to get by on whatever comes in and started getting serious about walking in the fullness of God’s financial will for your life. His will is for you to “prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2, "New King James Version"). His will is to “increase you more and more, you and your children” (Psalm 115:14). His will is for you to “be willing and obedient…[and] eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19), which means you ought to be driving the good, wearing the good and living in the good. In short, God wants you to be a walking manifestation of what the Bible says in Psalm 112: “Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.” Talk about a truly prosperous life! When you’re delighting greatly in The WORD of God, your children are doing well, you have a house full of wealth and riches, and at the same time your righteousness is intact, you’ve got it all happening, my friend. Life doesn’t get any better than that! “Yeah, but Brother Copeland, when it comes to the amount of money we’re going to have I think we’re better off leaving it up to God. We ought to just let Him choose how much He wants to give us, don’t you agree?” No, I don’t…and more importantly, neither does the Bible. It says very clearly that God has already made His choice in the matter. He’s already chosen to cause THE BLESSING of Abraham to come upon us in Christ (Galatians 3:14). He’s already said to us all throughout the Scriptures: ● “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you.” (Genesis 17:4, "NKJV") ● I will BLESS you in the city and in the country. (see Deuteronomy 28:3) ● I will BLESS you coming in and going out. (see Deuteronomy 28:6) * * * article continues on next page * * * Points to Get You There: 1. God’s will is for you to be truly prosperous and enjoy good things in every area of life. Isaiah 1:19 2. In Christ all things are yours, but choosing to believe for them is your responsibility. Deuteronomy 30:19 3. To receive supernatural income, start by determining not just what you need but what you want. Psalm 23:1 4. Once you’ve decided on an amount, ask God for it, believe you receive, and then stand in faith without wavering. James 1:6-7 5. Bind the devil by telling him to get his hands off your money and loose the angels to bring it in. Matthew 18:18 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BVOV : 27
