A Half Century in the Making!
In just a few months Kenneth Copeland Ministries will mark its 50th year of ministry. That’s 50 years of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, with the support of hundreds of thousands of Partners and Friends around the world, faithfully standing in faith that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God.
For the last half century, they have remained steadfast and committed to obeying God's commission to preach the uncompromised Word from the top of the world to the bottom and all the way around. It began as a journey of faith when, in March 1967, Kenneth stood in the dried-up Arkansas River bed and received God’s call to ministry.
“He told me exactly what He was calling me to do,” Kenneth would recall years later of the commission from God. “He was calling me to preach the gospel to the nations…He said nations would be won in a day—some of them even by this ministry.”
Over the past 50 years, God has been faithful to help Kenneth and Gloria, and KCM fulfill that mandate. From its headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, and through its six international offices in Africa, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Europe and Ukraine, KCM has been able to extend its outreach with the Word of God. Using every available voice—from radio and television to conventions and meetings, from print media and product distribution to every form of social media—KCM is reaching around the world and seeing lives changed by the thousands.
It’s been an exciting and rewarding journey. And we are thankful that you, our Partners and Friends, have been along to experience it with us.
Throughout 2017, the "Believer’s Voice of Victory" magazine will pay tribute to KCM by taking a look back, through words and pictures, over the past 50 years and reminding ourselves of God’s goodness and His faithfulness to this ministry. We’ll remember some of KCM’s historic moments, from the beginning of the TV ministry to the start of the children’s ministry, and on into our entrance into the world of the internet and social media.
