Get the Devil Out of Your Garden!

One day many years ago, the Lord said something to me I wish every believer on earth could have heard. He said, 'I want My people well!'
At the time, He was dealing with me about teaching Healing School. So I already knew from the Bible that healing is God’s will. Our family had received healing from Him many times. Yet when He spoke to me, it hit me with fresh force how much He wants all believers everywhere to be healthy and whole. I saw more than ever before how very passionate He is about His people getting healed.
God really is passionate about it, you know. He wants us to be healed even more than we want it ourselves!
Why wouldn’t He? He’s our heavenly Father. We’re His children and He loves us. Even as earthly parents, we love our children so much that if they’re sick, we’ll do anything in our power to make them well. We’ll make any sacrifice and go to any lengths possible to relieve their pain and cause them to be at peace.
God feels the same way about each of us. As a good God and a good Father, He’s always provided healing for His people. Even under the Old Covenant, He taught the Israelites how to diligently hearken to His Word so that none of the diseases they’d seen in Egypt would come upon them. He told them: “Ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil” (Exodus 23:25-26).
