What God Does for One

Jennifer Adams shivered with excitement as she prepared for the sonogram that would reveal her baby’s gender. “Before we begin,” Jennifer said, “I want to go on record as saying that, in spite of the fact that everyone keeps telling me I’m having a girl, I believe the baby is a boy.”
Her husband, David, laughed. “We’ll know soon enough!”
Two months earlier, Jennifer and David had watched in awe as their baby’s heartbeat raced inside a body that looked like a tiny gummy bear. They could hardly wait to see how much he’d grown.
