The Spirit of Prophecy and Prayer

Now more than ever, we must pay attention to prophecy and the word the Lord is giving through the Holy Spirit. We must be able to recognize Jesus as He is coming so we can recognize Him at His coming. Much of our recognizing Him will come through the operation of the Holy Spirit through prophecy. “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10).
We can see in Acts 2:17-18 that the spirit of prophecy is vital in the last days: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.” The spirit of prophecy not only brings the outpouring, but it perpetuates the operation and moving of the Spirit during the outpouring.
