Riding High Above the Storm
by Kenneth Copeland
When someone asks you how you’ve been doing lately, there’s one response I hope you’ll never give. I hope you’ll never say that you’re doing the best you can “under the circumstances.”
As a believer, you ought to banish that phrase from your vocabulary forever. You don’t ever have to be under the circumstances. You don’t have to just hunker down under their onslaught, like the rest of the world does, and do your best to make it through.
Because you’re a born-again child of Almighty God, you can rise above them. You can get up over them as Proverbs 18:10 says: “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” (Or, as the cross-reference in my Bible puts it, “the righteous run into it and are lifted aloft.”)
