There's an expression that's worked its
way into people's conversations recently.
You've probably heard it. Somebody will
ippantly spout o about something, make a
pronouncement they probably shouldn't, and
then add with a shrug…"I'm just saying."
Just saying.
As harmless as that expression may sound,
it's extremely deceptive. It implies that what
we say doesn't make any di erence—that our
words only re ect what we think about reality,
they don't actually a ect it.
Nothing, however, could be further from
the truth. Words are behind everything that
happens on this planet. They're what brought
