Steady In Troubled Times
The Word of God will hold you steady in times of trouble.
An unbreakable, divine covenant, it's lled with promises
of victory sworn to you in the precious blood of Jesus that
will empower you to triumph every time.
REMIND THE
DEVIL THAT GOD'S
PROMISES TO YOU
HAVE BEEN RATIFIED
IN JESUS' BLOOD.
(REV. 12:10-11)
MEDITATE ON THE
FACT THAT JESUS'
BLOOD CANCELS
ALL SATAN'S CLAIMS
ON YOU.
(COL. 2:14-15)
WHEN THE DEVIL
ACCUSES YOU,
PLEAD THE BLOOD
OF JESUS.
(HEB. 10:14)
DON'T JUST TALK
ABOUT YOUR
BLOOD COVENANT
WITH GOD, WALK IN
IT BY COMMITTING
YOURSELF FULLY TO
HIS PLAN.
(ROM. 12:1)

WORDS OF FAITH

WHEN THE
STORMS OF
LIFE THREATEN
TO SHAKE YOU,

WORD TO
ANCHOR
YOUR SOUL.
(HEB. 6:17-19)
to be fervent in spirit, not to doubt when
dealing with a Christian brother or when
serving The LORD.
Be Fervent In Spirit
...fervent in spirit; serving The LORD;
rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer; distributing to
the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
BLESS them which persecute you: BLESS,
and curse not (Romans 12:11-14).
Never lag in zeal toward The LORD or
in earnest endeavor. Be aglow and burning
with the Spirit, always eagerly and faithfully
serving The LORD.
Don't go around with the corners of your
mouth hanging down. Put on Jesus. Be like
Him. Do as He would do.
The Apostle Paul said we should rejoice
in hope, be steadfast and patient in su ering
and tribulation, and be constant in prayer.
This is a description of the way we are
to act in the Body of Christ: We are to keep
our mouths shut about our own trials and
tribulations and hurts. Stop rehearsing them
to every preacher, minister and counselor we
run across.
One of the reasons we ministers of the
gospel sometimes have to avoid our fellow
Christians at meetings is because we can't
stay under the anointing if we are repeatedly
being burdened with other people's trials
and tribulations. Many who do this don't
really want help. They just want to go over
their problems again and again and again,
drawing attention to themselves. That's
dishonorable.
God has said that our hurts are very
important to Him (1 Peter 5:7). However,
they ought to mean little or nothing to us.
We should be paying very little attention
to our own problems and difficulties. We
take our stand of faith on God's WORD and
roll our cares over on Him, leaving them
there. He wants us to be alive with hope,
not walking in hopelessness and despair.
