Step
by Step
Although God will reveal mysteries to you as
you pray and seek Him for direction, don't expect
Him to give you a complete set of blueprints for
your life all at one time. I'm not sure He ever
does that. He'll usually just reveal your next step.
Often, He may not even explain to you why that
step is important, or what's going to happen after
you take it—or what will happen if you don't.
That's why we must learn to walk by faith
and not by sight. We don't know what's coming
tomorrow, next month or next year. But, God does.
So we have to fully trust Him and confi dently
obey His instructions in big matters and small,
following the leading of His Spirit, even when we
