conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you." Superkid, this is the new way.Jesus working HIMSELF into not only our spirits, but our very souls—our minds, wills and emotions becoming ONE with HIS mind, will and emotions. Here's a great way to explain what I mean. Try this experiment: Take a ball of bright red modeling clay, and another of deep blue. At rst, they sit side by side, yet separate. When you start kneading and working them together, something amazing happens— they blend into a brand-new color: purple! Once the two colors of clay are fully mixed, you can't pull out just the red, or just the blue. They have become ONE— completely changed into something new. This is a picture of what we've been seeing in Ephesians! Before we knew Jesus, we tried hard to be good enough. But when we choose Him, Jesus begins to work inside us. Unlike the clay, He doesn't just sit beside us. He wants to blend Himself completely into our hearts and souls, making us truly one with Him! Jesus is actively renewing us from the inside out and working Himself into our conduct. That means He's changing our thoughts, our words and our actions every day. We're no longer just "us"—we are a new creation, shaped by God's love! This new and living way of life is ours for the choosing. There is more treasure in Ephesians 4, but let's camp here for now.As we approach Resurrection Sunday this year, let our celebrations have deeper meaning. He chose to ARISE FOR US, so we can choose to let Him ARISE IN US! THAT'S the true meaning of RESURRECTION! Commander Kellie conduct as God accurately reproduces B V O V : 3 1 Commander Kellie's Corner Kellie Copeland is responsible for Covenant Partner Relations at Kenneth Copeland Ministries and is the developer of the Superkid Academy curriculum. Through her ministry and as "Commander Kellie," she ful lls the mission of drawing people of all ages into a personal, growing and powerful relationship with Jesus Christ. Let's celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus with a grateful heart for what He has done for us. Jesus knew the Father did not want another animal sacri ce ( Hebrews 10:5, The Passion Translation) so He said: "I will be the One to go and do your will, to ful ll all that is written of me in your Word" (verse 7). He went to the cross for this very important reason, which is found in verses 19-22: And now we are brothers and sisters in God's family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation. For he has dedicated a new,life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus' body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him! And since we now have a magni cent High Priest to welcome us into God's house,we come closer to God and approach himwith an open heart, fully convinced that nothing will keep us at a distance from him. For our hearts have been sprinkled with blood to remove impurity, and we have been freed from an accusing conscience. Now we are clean, unstained, and presentable to God inside and out! A NEW, life-giving way! We have achoice to make to live as Ephesians 4 describes. Last month we read verses 17-19 and saw that the secret to this new way of living was not in choosing to be good, but choosing to believe. We need to talk more about that! It's time for us to change, or as verse 24, The Message, says, "Take on an entirely new way of life." To understand the way of life we are turning away from, let's look back at verses 17-18, where Paul describes the life we DON'T want, and tells us not to live this way.Paul describes a life without God as lost and hopelessly confused, with a mind full of darkness. Choosing to shut God out of your mind and heart is choosing life without His love and power—leading to sin and hurt. NO, THANK YOU! Look at verse 20 in The Message. It says, "But that's no life for you. You learned Christ!" Superkid, you have been taught about Jesus IN you!Whenever you see the word "Christ," think that is Jesus in me!Jesus in you means there is an ENTIRELY NEW WAY OF LIFE for you! Now, read verse 21: "My assumption is that you have paid careful attention to him, been well instructed in the truth precisely as we have it in Jesus." You've known the truth of being one with Jesus and IN Jesus! Verse 22 says, "Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything—and I do mean everything— connected with that old way of life has to go. It's rotten through and through. Get rid of it!" Superkid, we BELIEVE He not only lives in us but He lives THROUGH us. He not only walks with us, but IN us! Now, look at verse 23: "And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your A New Way of Life
