As I have previously shared with you, in
February 2021 the state of Texas was hit by
a winter storm the likes of which we had
never seen before. As a result of freezing
temperatures, buildings on the property here
at KCM experienced extensive damage. Pipes
burst in our Headquarters building, forcing
our staff to vacate the building.
It would take massive repairs before staff
would be able to return.
Instead of just repairing the building,
which in itself was a major project, we began
the process of redesigning and reorganizing
the Headquarters building for the future.
Architectural drawings were produced;
however, the funds were not available to start
the renovations.
