Some say it's going to take a massive win by their favorite political party. Others, who favor the opposite party, say it's going to take a win by theirs. More than a few, discouraged by the constant negative news they see on TV, are of the opinion that no matter which party wins, the future of this country is bleak." That's how Kenneth Copeland begins his feature article in this month's issue of Believer's Voice of Victory, titled "Faith That Heals Nations." And, yes, I'm using those words here, hoping to get your attention regarding the importance of the upcoming elections and the role you play as a believer. Just like four years ago, the November elections are being viewed by many as the most crucial ones in our nation's history. And we, as believers, will play a major role in the outcome. The Democratic Party is not responsible for the outcome, and neither is the Republican Party. That duty rests solely on the shoulders of the Church. "This is not just a little political thing," Brother Copeland writes. "This has to do with the most world-changing outpouring of the Holy Ghost and fire to ever hit this planet, and everything in our lives is connected to it. Our finances are connected to it. The welfare of our families and our homes are connected to it, and we all have a part to play in bringing to pass its full manifestation." If the Church does what it is responsible to do at the polls in November, then we will see things change for the good in our nation. Why? Because our vote matters! Over the next several months, BVOV will feature articles that share why your participation in the voting process is crucial. I encourage you to read every article, then be led by the Holy Spirit as you prepare to go to the polls to vote. God ordained good government, and He has ordained each of us to be responsible for it.
