Anytime we found ourselves stuck in
trouble, it was always because we didn't
have enough Word on the inside of us to get
us out.
The greatest amount of trouble we've ever
been in was when we fell $6 million behind
on our television bills. In the natural, there
was absolutely no solution to that problem.
Not only did it look like we were stuck with
it; as the bills kept coming in, the defi cit
threatened to get even worse. We needed a
supernatural breakthrough in that situation
and, praise the Lord, we got one! However,
it didn't just automatically fall on us out of
heaven. We had to believe God over a period
of months to receive the fi nancial supply we
needed. We had to overcome that $6 million
shortfall with faith in the Word of God.
Actually, it's what we've learned from
the Word about the law of receiving that
has always gotten us out of trouble. We've
never been in a tight place that it couldn't
get us out of. It's enabled us to enjoy victory
and prosper in every area of life. The law
of receiving is laid out time and again
throughout the Bible. It's very simple, and
anybody can put it into operation. It will
work for you just like it works for Ken and
me. No matter what kind of trouble comes
along, it will get you out and cause you to
triumph in every situation—every time, all
the time.
For the law of receiving to work for you,
though, you must put it to work. You can't
