Him, the world will see that we not only belong to Him, but we are also just LIKE Him! We are just like Jesus, and we are just like our Father. He is a real Father. And we are His real children. Remember John 3:16? It says, "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life" (New Living Translation). The Father sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to give all mankind eternal life. The only way people can come to the Father is through meeting His Son. How will they meet Jesus? What if they see Him in you? What if you live, love and bless so much like your heavenly Father that people want to know Him too? What will that look like? Shall we go with this BIG plan of God? Yes? Let's do it! Let's follow Him into this new and amazing time we live in. Though the world looks kind of weird right now, they are hungry to know Jesus. They just don't know it. They are standing on tiptoe just waiting for us to show up! Are you ready? Let's Go! "What's next, Papa?!" Commander Kellie B V O V : 3 1 Commander Kellie's Corner Kellie Copeland is responsible for Covenant Partner Relations at Kenneth Copeland Ministries and is the developer of the Superkid Academy curriculum. Through her ministry and as "Commander Kellie," she ful lls the mission of drawing people of all ages into a personal, growing and powerful relationship with Jesus Christ. I honor my dad, Kenneth Copeland, who has been, and continues to be, an awesome father. He has always shown me unconditional love, and supported my dreams! He had a good example to follow because my grandfather, A.W. Copeland, was the same way. I hope that I am following the example of my father and grandfather. I have learned how to live, love and bless people by watching and learning from these wonderful men. I am grateful to be part of their family! The other Father I want to honor this month is One we all share—our heavenly Father! Let's honor Him not only with words, but by realizing that He is REALLY our Father! The Bible tells us in Romans 8:15-17, The Passion Translation: …But you have received the "Spirit of full acceptance," (complete sonship or the spirit of consecrated children) enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, "Beloved Father!"(Daddy or Papa) For the Holy Spirit makes God's fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, "You are God's beloved child! And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has...." Read how The Message says it: It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?" God's Spirit touches our spirits and con rms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Standing on Tiptoe! Father and children. And we know we are going to get what's coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! Superkid, as we keep our eyes on Jesus, we will begin to see our Father more clearly. We will begin to know Him like Jesus knows Him. Jesus gave His life so that this could happen! The whole world is waiting for you and me to understand this! I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glorythat is about to be unveiled within us. THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS STANDING ON TIPTOE,yearning to see the unveiling of God's glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futilityresulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God's children (Romans 8:18-21, TPT) I know this is a lot to take in, but we were created to be just like Jesus, the Son of God. As we become more and more like June is the month when the people of the United States, as well as other nations around the world, celebrate fathers with their own day. How about we give our dads, grandads, uncles and father fi gures extra honor, love and attention! With eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom.
