Editor’s Letter Do the Right Thing! Decisions. We face them every day. And every day we must choose whether to say or do the right thing or the wrong thing. Being a Christian doesn’t exempt us from having to deal with life’s problems, nor does it relieve us of our responsibility to choose between right and wrong. But because we are believers, when we’re confronted with challenges, God expects us to know how to respond. I believe that’s the point Jesus was making when He invited His disciples to get to know Him so they could learn His ways. In John 15:4, Jesus told them to “Abide in me.” And in Matthew 11:29, He encouraged them to “learn of me.” "The Message" says, “Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.” Watch how He does it! That’s what the disciples did when it came to prayer. They watched to see what Jesus did and knew it was His habit to get away and pray. So, they went to Him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1). That’s what God expects of us regarding the decisions we make. Why? Because how we conduct ourselves reflects who we are. The decisions we make not only affect our daily lives and shape our futures, but they affect others. As believers, we have God’s Spirit on the inside to empower, teach and guide us. That means our thoughts, words and actions should always line up with God and His Word. Whenever you face a decision, don’t act hastily. Count the cost. Ask yourself: Will what I do help or hurt? Will it build up, or will it tear down? Will it glorify God? Pray and ask Him what you should do. Proverbs 16:25 says, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Your decision may seem like the right one, but only God knows what’s best. Trust Him to show you what to do. He’s always right and He’ll never mislead you. God expects us to know right from wrong, and He is counting on us to always do what is right, do it because it’s right, and then do it right! Speaking of right decisions, I’m glad you decided to read this month’s issue of the BVOV magazine. You’re about to be blessed! Ronald C. When The LORD first spoke to us about starting the Believer’s Voice of Victory magazine, He said: 'This is your seed. Give it to everyone who ever responds to your ministry, and don’t ever allow anyone to pay for a subscription to it.' For 48 years it has been our joy to bring you good news through the teachings of ministers who write out of living contact with God, and the testimonies of believers who took God at His WORD and experienced His victory in everyday life. —Kenneth & Gloria Copeland _________________ Get your free magazine kcm.org/magazine-signup Spanish edition es.kcm.org/LVVC ------------------------------------------ "Believer’s Voice of Victory" is published monthly by Eagle Mountain International Church Inc./Kenneth Copeland Ministries, a nonprofit corporation, Fort Worth, Texas. © 2021 Eagle Mountain International Church Inc. aka Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
