Editor’s Letter A Personal View of Partnership As editor, it has been my privilege to meet hundreds of this ministry’s Partners—people who love Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and are grateful to be part of the work Kenneth Copeland Ministries does. They all have inspiring stories to tell, and it has been our honor to share many of them with you. One who stands out is a dear, sweet lady from Abilene, Texas, named Lyndle Waters. When we talked, back in 2014, Mrs. Waters was 90, had followed the teachings of KCM since the mid-1970s, and had been a KCM Partner for 40 years. She had also attended Bible study groups led by Brother Copeland’s parents, A.W. and Vinita Copeland. While some ministries cloud the subject of partnership by suggesting it is connected with how much money one gives, Mrs. Waters was clear on what partnership meant to her: “It’s about us being one together,” she told me. “I’ve never been overseas or to any of those foreign places they go to, but I get excited when I hear what the ministry is doing because I know that I’m part of it…I give my little ‘widow’s mite’ each month and I know that I have a part in what KCM is doing.” Around the world, thousands are discovering the meaning of partnership with KCM. Among them is Ted Winsley, who dreamed of becoming an NFL star and wearing a Super Bowl ring until he sustained a devastating injury during a game. Read Ted’s story of how God changed his life—on Page 12. As we approach our national elections in November, I urge you to be ready to cast your ballot. Samuel Adams, one of our nation’s Founding Fathers, admonishes us: “Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is...executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.” To further understand the importance of your vote, be sure to read David Barton’s article, “Changing America,” on Page 20.
