That’s what happened at Creation. According to Genesis 1, “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light” (verses 2-3). Think of it, God’s words created this entire universe! By faith, He called “those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17), and what He said came to pass. That’s how He does everything. It’s the way He Himself operates, and it’s how we, as His children, are also to operate and live in victory! Jesus confirmed this in Mark 11:22-23. “Have faith in God,” He said. (Or as one translation says, Have the faith of God). “For…whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” “But I don’t like that faith confession business,” someone might say. “I’m not comfortable saying that I’m prosperous when my bank account is empty, or that I’m healed when I feel sick. Do I really have to do that?” No, you don’t. But then you don’t have to walk in divine health and supernatural abundance, either. If you want, you can choose to talk unbelief and just let the devil keep stealing from you. But to live BLESSED you must believe AND speak God’s Word, because that’s how God designed faith to work. Calling things that be not as though they were, is God’s plan of dominion! It’s how Jesus lived when He was on earth. It’s how Abraham lived in his day, and how he and Sarah got the son God promised them. In the natural, having a son looked to be impossible for them. Abraham was over 100 years old, and Sarah was 90 and had always been barren. Yet they took God at His Word and began declaring it over themselves. They looked past their circumstances, past their old bodies and years of barrenness, and looked instead at the promise of God. Even though he didn’t see how it could happen, Abraham began calling himself, “a father of many nations,” just as God did. And sure enough, that’s what he became. As believers, we can have the same experience. We can believe and speak God’s Word and see Him do the impossible in our lives. We can come out of the worst situations and into a place of total victory. We may not be able to see in the natural right now how it can happen. When we look around us with our physical eyes, we may not see any way that deliverance and victory can come. But God always has a way out for us. He can always cause us “to triumph in Christ” (2 Corinthians 2:14) and bring His scriptural promises to pass in our lives. We just have to maintain a spirit of faith. We just have to follow the example of Abraham, keep the Word in two places, and “look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). Faith doesn’t look at symptoms or circumstances. It only looks at what God said. It stays focused on His eternal, unchanging Word and keeps declaring it until it fully manifests. So no matter what’s going on around you, keep your eyes on the Word. Don’t just look at it now and then. Don’t wait until you’re in a crisis and you need an immediate miracle. Center your life around the Word all the time. If you’ll practice living that way every day, on those occasions when you do need miracles, you’ll be well-positioned to receive them. But you won’t need them nearly as often, because you won’t be living anymore from crisis to crisis. YOU’LL BE LIVING DAILY AS A WORLD OVERCOMER IN THE ABUNDANT BLESSING OF GOD. V * * * * * * * * * * POINTS TO GET YOU THERE: 1) God’s will has always been for His people to walk in abundance. Prov. 3:10 2) We connect with the abundance of THE BLESSING by faith. Mark 11:24 3) Faith is finding out what God said in His Word, believing it in our hearts and confessing it with our mouths until it comes to pass. 2 Cor. 4:13 4) God created the universe by speaking words of faith; it’s His way of operating. Gen.1:3 5) If we want to live in THE BLESSING, we must operate the same way. If you’ve been around Kenneth Copeland Ministries long, you know we are passionate about partnership. It’s the way God designed heaven and earth to work together—to achieve more together than any of us could do on our own. It’s about showing kindness—wherever you go. That’s why here at KCM, we are partnering with local organizations and churches across the country and sharing random acts of kindness. Last November, while in Woodbridge, Va., for the 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign, we were able to love, honor and serve our veterans at the Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center. We put together the most-requested Christmas items for the long-term residents and stocked their Christmas store. Then, we hand-delivered gifts to these heroic men and women—letting them know how much we love them and appreciate their service to our country. In Beltsville, Md., we teamed up with one of our Partner churches, Hope Christian Church pastored by Bishop Harry Jackson, to bless some of its members with gift cards to help their families during Christmas. And along with more than 160 volunteers from Hope Christian Church, we partnered with Feeding Children Everywhere to assemble and pack 22,950 meals for hungry children. These meals were sent to the Capital Area Food Bank for distribution locally. It was our honor to love on the people, serve the city and show God’s love by rendering random acts of kindness. Because, kindness matters!
