A Good Work in Progress
by Kellie Copeland
After each day of Creation, God would step back and examine all He had done, and all He could say was, “It is good.” And when He was done with all His good Creation, He rested from all His work.
There is such love reflected in that simple word good. As I have studied the plan of God, I have come to realize how meaningful to God good really is. Just any old plan and just any old thing is not good enough for His children. Because of His great love for us and His desire that we have an amazing life here on earth, He gives us only His good stuff.
As we look into His Word for evidence of His great plan for us, we should always keep these things in mind. God is never random, and He is never off course. He has a very pleasing, precise plan for our lives. Actually, that plan was developed before the foundation of the world. He planned your life before you were ever born; a plan that spans from start to finish just for you—the plan that He calls good.
