Still in the Footsteps of a Prophet
Fifty years ago, in February 1969, a man named Kenneth Copeland went to Jerry Savelle’s hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, and preached a message of faith that would change Jerry’s life forever. In 1970, Jerry joined Brother Copeland at Kenneth Copeland Evangelistic Association, first working for the ministry, and later teaming up with and preaching alongside Brother Copeland.
Although he launched his own ministry in January 1974, Jerry has remained faithful to follow in the footsteps of his mentor, embracing the teachings that set him on a lifelong journey of living by faith.
