The Cookie Lady by Melanie Hemry Jenny Kuhne stood on an 8-foot ladder as she helped friends paint the outside of a townhouse. The warm sun felt deliciously inviting on her back following a frigid Minnesota winter. There was something soothing about the rhythmic brush strokes as she painted. Releasing a deep sigh, she let her mind circle the incredible joy she felt at having discovered the call of God on her life.
